LESSONS FROM 2GO APP

Just today, the thought of this popular chatting application called 2go crossed my mind, I've been wondering why the application has gone into extinction and we no longer use it. I'll be using it as an example to land some points. To be candid, 2go was really cool for chatting and it has some features those days which I don't think Facebook has, It tells you when someone is typing, it shows people that are online and it is very fast for chatting unlike Facebook those days when you have to reload your page to see new messages. Just as technology started to advance, 2go didn't advance with it, below are some reasons why I think people must have stopped using 2go. * Many people registered on 2go just for 2go star sake and when they reach the maximum star which was MASTER, they stop using 2go. * 2go was mainly for chatting only, there are no other things you can do if you don't want to chat, unlike Facebook which you can read news and do many other things. * Once you lost the number you used to register on 2go, it can't be changed and you can't share friends, chat in groups etc * 2go owners made 2go look like a race where you have to reach a finish line, the application was created for chatting so why should I need to be rewarded with 2go star for chatting with people? * Success is not a destination, it is a continual process, 2go must have thought they have succeeded which made them relax and failed to update their services to suit the current technology advancement. People taste changes and people get tired of doing the same old thing over and over again. * Whatever profession you are into, try to be open to new ideas and trends. People won't love the style you do for them today in the next 10 years, the business tactics you use now may not work for you next 5years. You have to keep winning and you have to keep striving to remain a success, an Athlete who slows down at the middle of the race because he is leading his opponent won't lead forever because his opponent will surely overtake him.
